The Amgen tour is the largest cycling event in America that comes to California each year. Last years race was held in February and remembered for the foul wet weather. It didn’t stop me, my friends and the thousands of spectators who came out to watch the world’s top cycling professionals ride a beautiful and demanding course in California. My friend and I caught all the action,excitement and fun on Pine Flat Road on the famous Bonny Doon Climb. We were up close and personal with the riders and cheered them on as they made the grueling climb to the top of the hill. The pictures tell our story of an eventful day and fond memories of last years Amgen Tour 2009, Stage 2 in Santa Cruz, CA.
